MEMBERS SPREAD THE WORD - perhaps you know someone who has played before or would like to give bowls a try. Invite them along on Sunday 19th April or any Friday evening, to have a try.

Green maintainence
Greenkeeper Garry and his team of volunteers, spent endless hours (with a few well deserved tea breaks) getting the Green ready for the 2026 season. There was lots of technical machinery involved, along with seeding and autumn feeding  - well done all, much appreciated.

Byfield Bowls Club is very fortunate having an excellent six-rink outdoor green. The Clubhouse in the Russell Pavilion has both ladies and men’s changing rooms, a spacious function room, a bar and a balcony with amazing views overlooking the sports ground and church.

We are often envied by other visiting clubs because of our scenic position in a quintessential English village.
