Bowls is played outdoors on our green, from April to late September, and then in the winter months there is indoor Short Mat bowling, on the x 2 “rinks” upstairs in the Clubhouse.

After our 2025 Open Day, on Saturday 19th April the Club will hold regular Monday games, for all levels 1.45-4pm for only £3 per a session. Teams are randomly drawn on the day, dependent on numbers. This an opportunity to learn the 'ins and outs' of the game, more about the rules, gain some experience and practice your skills.

On Fridays 6-8pm, there will be free “roll-ups” for members and coaching sessions for those who are new to the game. Potential new members and visitors are welcome to join us and try bowls for two free sessions initially. Then it will be just £3 per as session thereafter, unless a full membership is paid. Please see our MEMBERSHIP section for further details about joining costs, from as little as £20 for new members.

Apart from the regular Monday and Fridays, there is also an opportunity to play in friendly mixed and ladies matches against other local clubs, and the Club’s Annual Championships. For more competitive players, the Club also play in league matches and presently we have a men’s team in the Monday evening Northamptonshire League.
